It certainly wouldn&#039;t hurt to add trusses, it would only further the rigidity of the roof.

As for the truss spacing, 6 trusses total will need to be spaced 3&#039; 9 3/5&quot; apart. This is considering 2&quot; width of each truss too, the sum of all that comes out to 20&#039;. 

If you were to add more trusses to the build, I would go with 8 since it&#039;s most simple compared to other amounts of trusses. Using 8 trusses you&#039;ll have a 2&#039; 8&quot; gap length.
